Everything from dyeing natural materials such as indigo, madder, and minerals is done by hand, and the dyeing, washing, and drying process is repeated many times.

In the fall of 2022, we visited the dyeing and printing workshop and observed part of the process.

The front is indigo-dyed cloth, and the parts of the pattern that you don't want to dye are printed with anti-dyeing mixed with lime etc. In the back, sawdust is spread on top to dry it.

Since no chemical dyes are used, it takes time and effort, but the natural color tone and layered depth are attractive.

The refreshing blue dyed with Indian indigo gives it a light impression.

It has a slightly special design with delicate details added to the natural dyeing and block print pattern.
