In recent years, hand-woven Wayuu bags woven by the Wayuu people have spread all over the world, and Mochira is now made in various regions as Colombia's representative handicraft .

We selected Mochira, which is made in a small town called Chorrera in the north.
The main industry in this area is knitted products made using traditional crochet techniques.
Craftsmen from the North Atlantic region came together to establish the Chorrera Craftsmen's Association, and are working to promote and revitalize original knit products in order to preserve traditional techniques.

This time, we had them make a plain handbag that is easy to use for any occasion.

Mochira, which starts from the bottom with crochet, is very durable because it is tightly knitted with water-repellent acrylic thread.

It has a capacity that can hold your own bottle (the photo shows a 500ml plastic bottle), long wallet, smartphone, compact camera, mini towel, cutlery set, eco bag, etc. In the photo, a 500ml plastic bottle is used, but if you want to completely close your mouth, a smaller size would be better.
